Rhinegeist Puma Hoppy Pilsner Review

Puma from Rhinegeist located here in Cincinnati, Ohio, where I am located is best described as a hoppy Pilsner. At 5.2% ABV and 40 IBU, this beer will hit you with a little bite as yet another one that seems to fit into that hoppy lager area. As one though that does enjoy bitter beers, I do like some of the things being done to push the lager boundaries like this. Available between April and August as a seasonal offering, the beer features the use of three hops and only one malt which is Pilsner. For me, I found this beer to be light, clean, and floral in both aroma and taste as well as slightly hoppy and bitter as noted. A decent brew for those that like bitterness and one that for me comes in at 3.5 out of 5 on my scale. Check out the video to see and hear more of my thoughts on this one, and if you have had it before then let me know what you thought by leaving a comment as well.

Cheers, Get Your Beer On!
