Getting My Beer On With Thin Man Minkey Boodle

Big thanks to my friend Joe, who shot me this beer from Thin Man Brewery. Minkey Boodle is a Sour Ale that is aged on raspberries. Inside this purplish pinkish beer goodness is a 7.8% ABV just waiting to sneak up on the unsuspecting, and it will definitely catch some that just are engulfed by its smoothness. Love the tartness, which is there but subtle enough that it does not take away from other aspects of the beer. There is a nice crisp refreshing quality to the ale as well, but astringency, as well as acidity, is both low making it an ale where more than can easily be consumed in a sitting. Well worth checking out for any sour beer fan, and once again thanks Joe.
