Getting My Beer On With 42 North Pre-Emption IPA
Another big thanks go out to my buddy Joe who was able to send me down this beer from the 42 North Brewing Company, which is located in East Aurora, New York. The Pre-Emption IPA is a New England style IPA that carries an ABV of 6.7% and an IBU level of 55, so expect some bitterness here. With the breaking down of this one, I found it to be a pretty solid offering. There was a good tropical feel from the hops and a decent juiciness as expected it from this style. There was a feel of the maltiness as well, which allowed for a nice malt backbone and balance. It does finish dry, but there was also a nice citrus sweetness in play. Overall, I would say a nice smooth beer and check out the video to see and hear more of my thoughts. Moreover, if you have had it before then let me know what you thought of it by dropping a comment below.
