Getting My Beer On Revolution Eugene Beer Review
Eugene is a Porter from Revolution Brewing Company located in Chicago, Illinois. Carrying the namesake of iconic Eugene V. Debs, this one seemed to be created with robust in mind. 6.8% ABV and 28 IBU are the stats on this beer that for me brought in some nice roasted coffee tones from the malts as well as a nice overall smoothness. There was some bittering to the beer as well, which was much like that of an all-black coffee and not the bittering that we usually equate to hops. This all year offering also provided a nice sweetness that balanced well against the beer, making it a decent one to give a try. Check out the video to see and hear more, and if you had this one then let me know what you thought by placing a comment in the comments area.
