Sierra Nevada BFD Beer For Drinking Beer Review

BFD or Beer For Drinking from Sierra Nevada Brewing is a 4.8% ABV and 33 IBU Hoppy Blonde Ale as they describe it. Why it is called this name though I have no idea, because wouldn’t all beer just simply “be for drinking,” although I believe their goal is for one to drink it and not to wait over any period. In a way, they are saying to drink fresh. Anyway, this beer, which they also call causally crushable, did prove to be decent enough for me when trying. It was light, clean, and smooth with a nice presence of hops more so like that of a spruce or piney feel. There was some sweetness to it and I felt like it was something of an entry craft beer for one who may usually drink macros. Overall, it was decent enough that I gave it 3 out of 5. Check out the video if you would like to see and hear more on this one.
