Thoughts On My First Time Attending CBC...Finally

This is a long overdue piece, but time and life always bring surprises, delays, and all kinds of unexpected curveballs. This being said, I am finally getting time to get caught up and share some of the great happenings over the last few months and the first half of the year. This piece is just that, and a big thanks to the Brewers Association for the recent Craft Brewers Conference that took place in Indianapolis from April 28-May 1st this year. Attending the event as a media presence was a great opportunity to get behind the scenes with the many companies that are bringing success to the craft brewing industry. From the breweries to the suppliers and marketers, and all that make it happen…it was a worthwhile experience. Lagunitas Sakitumi Beer Review (One Hitter Series)

Sakitumi from Lagunitas Brewing Company is a 9% ABV 42 IBU Imperial IPA that is brewed with Sake yeast and rice as part of the process. A little bit sweet and a good amount tasty, this beer is one that is almost designed to be chugged as it goes down so easy. Maybe that’s why they put it in a 32 ounce bottle, although I’m sure some have done so. This is my look at this beer that unfortunately was released as part of the One Hitter Series, so when it’s gone it’s gone. I will say though that it was well worth the pick up here as you will see and hear in the video. This one was an easy 4 out of 5 for me.

Have you had the Sakitumi from Lagunitas? If so then drop a comment below and let others and myself know what you thought about this one.
