Getting My Beer On With Falls City Hipster Repellant IPA

A business trip down to the Lexington Area means a business trip where I can also find some local brews to sample, thus Hipster Repellant IPA from Falls City Beer was one that caught my eye by the design of the can. Falls City is based out of Louisville and this American IPA carries an ABV of 6.8% and an IBU level of 65. This is one that I had previously according to my Untappd check-ins but had not done a review and it is funny as we grow our universe how thoughts of beers change. Back when I first had it, I definitely ranked it higher than now.

This being said, I still found it to be a decent IPA providing the qualities expected of this style with the aroma as well as taste. There was that little medicinal flavor that can often be picked up with IPAs, but not to a point of being off-putting. There was a good amount of hoppiness and bitterness that accompanying the beer, and flavor wised there were those common notes of orange and tangerines. There was also a slight metallic taste from the can and I would classify a syrupy feel to the texture. The beer was dry on the finish like many of this style, but there was also sweetness from the malts as well. But overall, it was a decent enough IPA that I would say would satisfy a good amount of IPA fans. Check out the video to see and hear more of my thoughts on this one, and if you have had it then leave a comment letting me know what you thought of this ale.

Getting My Beer On With Julius From Tree House Brewing

There is always some hype in the craft beer world around certain beers, and one of them held of such high regard in this area has been Julius from the Tree House Brewing Company located in Charlton, Massachusetts. This one has been on my hunt list for a while so thanks to a good friend, I was finally able to check out this beer to see how it lived up to the hype and to see how tasty this American IPA truly is.

The numbers on this brew are 6.8% ABV and 72 IBU, and the appearance of this ale is as orange as you would expect for its namesake. I found it to be oh so citrusy and smooth in the taste, and full of flavor that had a pleasant accompanying resinous aroma. Juicy for sure and in the initial with some dryness on the back, this one entices you to drink more. It does hit with some sweetness though, and not sure how many of these I would want in a sitting but it is a great one for putting in the mix. It is definitely well worth the pick-up if you are an IPA fan and especially if you enjoy the juicy ones and thanks again to my friend Joe for hooking this up for me. Check out the video to see and hear more of my thoughts on it, and if you have had it then let me know your thoughts by dropping a comment.

My Setting Up Of The NewAir AB-850B Beverage Cooler

Here is a look of my setting up of the AB-850B Beverage Cooler from NewAir that I recently received and a look at how I decided to stock the cooler for moving forward. The ability to customize the shelves makes it nice in being able to adapt for the beers that one would like to stock, although having bottles does shrink the space since it is primarily designed for the cans. Check out what I mean by checking out the video.

Getting My Unboxing On With A NewAir AB-850B Beverage Cooler

Hey what’s up everybody, this is my unboxing of the NewAir AB-850B  beverage cooler, which they as a company have graciously bestowed on me to look at for a review. A big thank you to Cher who reached out through my social media site and a big thanks to you the viewers who watch and enjoy which even made this happen. I will at a later time do a video review of the product after it is set up and then provide my thoughts on it, but I thought it would be great to first share it though to give you a little inside track on what to expect.
