Founders Backwoods Bastard Beer Review
Founders Backwoods Bastard, an 11.2% ABV bourbon barrel-aged scotch ale that ended up finally reviewing here despite having it previous times. Smooth in feel, syrupy in texture and boozy in the aroma; this ale brings a good amount of complexity to the table. The mouthfeel was decent along with a nice mouthcoating, as notes of caramel and toffee for me were present in the tones, as were also some dark fruit notes. A solid beer from Founders, in my opinion, check out the video to see or hear more.
