Beer Reviews * Adelbert's Flyin' Monks *

Well, I have reached the end of my current journey through the beers I have acquired from Adelbert’s Brewery located in Austin, Texas. Thank you again Sarah for the opportunity as I conclude with this look at their Flyin’ Monks. And what a way to end, this Belgian Quad comes in at 10.9% ABV and is conditioned with rum oak cubes from the Spirit of Texas Distillery. Oh yes, let’s see how this one compares for sure!!!

Commercial Description:
2016 Great American Beer Festival Bronze Medal in Belgian and French Style Quadrupel
2015 Gold Medal from Artisan Awards
2015 International Craft Competition Awards Gold Medal
2014 Rockies/Southwest Regional Champion by United States Beer Tasting Championship (USBTC)
THE ALE: Conditioned on oak cubes used by Spirit of Texas Distillery to age their Pecan Street Rum, this ale has complex sweet oak, rum flavors with a warm alcoholic finish. Pair with dark chocolate desserts or bold cheeses.
THE STORY: The power of flight can be achieved through zen-like focus and concentration. This ale will not help.
