I decided
to check out this German Doppelbock to see what it offers. The Aecht Schlenkerla Eiche from
Schlenkerla is an 8% ABV and 40 IBU Lager. The malt for the
“Schlenkerla Oak Smoke” used is kilned with oak wood. The hence complex
smokiness in “Schlenkerla Oak Smoke” is paired with the multifaceted bitterness
of finest Hallertau aroma hops. It matures for months in deep brewery cellars
underneath Bamberg before becoming a special treat for smoke beer lovers. This one should be fun.
